Today BME is among the most dynamic and recognised body of the non-ferrous metal trade and industry. The Exchange encompasses a wide spectrum of membership representing Trade, Industry, Importers, and Small-Medium-Large Scale Industrial Units, different types of Dealers, Indentors and Brokers all over the country.

The Exchange, through it's website, provides information and guidelines that facilitates the trade of non-ferrous metals.

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) is an agency under Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of India which is responsible for execution of the import and export Policies of India. DGFT was earlier known as Chief Controller of Imports & Exports (CCI&E). The Directorate plays important role in the development of trading relations with other countries. It seeks to boost economic growth of the country by providing impetus to the trade industry. It’s headquartered in Udyog Bhawan in New Delhi.


EEPC India - Engineering Export Promotion Council

EEPC India - Engineering Export Promotion Council

EEPC India is the premier trade and investment promotion organization in India. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India and caters to the Indian engineering sector. As an advisory body, it actively contributes to the policies of Government of India and acts as an interface between the engineering industry and the Government. The Council was set up in 1955, EEPC India now has a membership base of over 12,000 out of whom 60% are SMEs.

EEPC India organizes a large number of promotional activities such as buyer-seller meets (BSM) – both in India and abroad, overseas trade fairs/exhibitions, and India pavilion/information booths in selected overseas exhibitions to demonstrate the capabilities of Indian engineering industry and to provide the overseas buyers with true value as propagated by Brand India.

ILZDA works in close co-operation with International Zinc Assn, International Lead Association, International Lead Zinc Study Group, International Lead Zinc Research Organization, as well as similar Lead/Zinc Development Associations in other countries.

The ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) works towards strengthening small business industry of the country. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) contribute nearly 8 percent of the country’s GDP, 45 percent of the manufacturing output and 40 percent of the exports. They provide the largest share of employment after agriculture. They are the nurseries for entrepreneurship and innovation. The ministry has a number of programmes to help and assist entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises envision a vibrant MSME sector by promoting growth and development of the MSME Sector, including Khadi, Village and Coir Industries, in cooperation with concerned Ministries/Departments, State Governments and other Stakeholders, through providing support to existing enterprises and encouraging creation of new enterprises.
