Jain Irrigation Systems bags order worth Rs. 2844.3mn

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd has announced that it has bagged Orders Worth Rs. 2,844.3 mn under AMRUT Scheme for Hi-Tech 24x7 City Water Supply Project. As per the order, it will implement one 24x7 water supply project each in Bijapur and Bagalkot districts in Karnataka, valuing Rs 201.83 crore and Rs 82.6 crore, respectively. These projects, to be implemented under the AMRUT scheme, will be designed and executed over 24-35 months. Their operations and maintenance will be done for 60 months. Jain Irrigation has successfully commissioned 24x7 water supply projects in four major cities of Karnataka -- Hubli, Dharward, Belgaum and Gulbarga.  It has also commissioned a similar project in Haliyal town in Uttar Kannada district.

(IOC) is planning to build USD 3 billion petrochemicals plant in Iran which will have access to cheap natural gas as its feedstock. India is planning investments in energy infrastructure in Iran.
